Megan Talalemotu graduated in 1986 from BHS. Since she has graduated, she has become a realtor and has been in this business for almost 22 years. She primarily works in land acquisition and residential new construction. Megan still leaves here in Beaverton, about a mile from where she grew up! Her favorite memory from BHS is being part of the track team and going down to Eugene for the state track meet, which they won! She was involved in track, soccer and cross country! She loved all her teammates and amazing coaches. Her two eldest kids are Beaverton grads, and she currently has a sophomore here at BHS. Her favorite hobbies include Sunday night dinners and traveling with her family to Bend during the summer. She is still very much part of the Beaverton community and enjoys it very much!
Corinne graduated in 2013. She was involved in LINK, DECA, and Speech and Debate. As well as the clubs she participated in, Corinne played a few sports at Beaverton, such as racquetball, cross country, soccer, and track. She did the Marketing Pathway as well as one year of Health Careers. Her favorite memories while at Beaverton was the trip she took to Saint Louis for racquetball nationals, cheering on her brother’s lacrosse team, and planning for Jam the Dam. Her favorite quality about Beaverton was how welcoming the community is to everyone.
After high school, Corrine went to Gonzaga where she majored international marketing and minored in German. She also ran track and cross country! Corinne is now the RFP/Proposal Manager at Moovel, a tech company that makes urban mobility apps.
In the future, Corinne plans to work abroad possibly in the Moovel offices in Germany. Her advice: Don’t be afraid to explore different hobbies and interests. High school is a great time to take risks to figure out what your future might look like. You might figure out you hate something you thought you liked or you might develop a new passion!
Claire Hanken is a 7th header from Raleigh Hills! She is passionate about soccer and running. Her favorite subject in school is science because she loves to be involved with experiments. Someone she looks up to is Florence Griffith-Joyner because she was such a strong and optimistic athlete. Claire’s favorite foods to eat are cantaloupe and pizza! She is constantly active with cross country, soccer, basketball and track! A few secret hobbies that Claire has are singing and writing. Lastly, her favorite Tv show is “Modern Family” because it is hilarious! Claire, we are so lucky to have you as a part of the Beaverton community!
