Meet Bucky’s Family member, Gordon House!
COMMUNITY CONNECTS US.
While growing up, senior Gordon House remembers playing sports every day and swimming all the time. Due to the pool he had right behind his house, he was always able to swim and stay athletic from a very young age. His talent grew during those years, and his neighborhood friends made those memories even better.
His high school athletic career has kept him busy and taught him to work hard to get things done. Learning to be a team player and to expect bigger and better things out of himself has shaped him as a student and helped form him into a well-rounded person. Gordon strives to improve himself everyday. When asked what advice he would give to younger students looking to play more than one sport, he replies that kids do not need to be afraid to try out for new and different sports. It does not have to be all about football or basketball or mainstream sports; trying out for racquetball or tennis or different clubs is an opportunity that often gets forgotten. He hopes that students always take advantage of every opportunity they are given and work hard to better themselves everyday.
